Innovative Global Funding Solutions (IGFS) was formed in 2005 in Hong Kong. At the same time, the company established a representative office in Georgetown, Grand Cayman. In 2008 the company consolidated and moved to Mexico.
The company’s staff and advisors have over 50 years of experience in the world of financial services and represent private investors who seek “outside the box” investments that could have long term potential.
IGFS puts the private investors together with those seeking funds either via a broker or, if contacted directly, IGFS acts as a “master” broker.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
On behalf of the private investors, we seek out projects or businesses that they are interested in and bring the parties together. We earn a commission from the investor upon funding.
The private investors do not look at projects as conventional lenders do. Rather, they approach things very differently (i.e., the type of product, anticipated portfolio importance, the principals operating the business, etc).
Requirements include, initially, at the minimum, an Executive Summary. A full Business Plan may be requested.
Some private investors prefer equity-funding while others prefer debt-funding. Both methods are available to accomplish the funding of your project. The procedures leading toward successful funding are the same whichever method you choose.
Funds are available from US$1 million to US$25 million (as of 1 Aug ’10):
For Debt-based funding initial terms are for 5-10 years and options to renew and options to increase during the loan term are also available. Current interest rates are approximately London Prime + 2%. Other options can include conversion of loan to equity.
For Equity-based funding, the investor usually requires 30%-35% of the company’s equity. There are no interest nor principal payments. However, all investors offer a “buy-back” option to the project’s owners which can be exercised at a future date based on the current value of the company at that time.
Due diligence is an important aspect of securing this financing and should not take the investors’ team more than 3-4 weeks to complete providing all required documents are supplied in a timely manner. Some investors require the project owner to share in the cost of due diligence.
IGFS LTD requires a one-time fee of US$500.00. In return for this fee, we guarantee to introduce you to a bona-fide investor who will offer you funding. If we cannot fulfill this promise within 30 days, we will return your US$500.00 to you (See Remittance & Guarantee).
